Country star Brian Kelley took the stage disguised as a Mad Scientist on The Masked Singer. Kelley said his âjourney as the Mad Scientist Monster was UNREAL,â as he posted photos on Instagram to remember the âamazing experienceâ on the show. McCarthy didnât mask her excitement after she correctly guessed the Mad Scientistâs true identity.
âMan, I just thought it was a different opportunity to, you know, kind of get out there, get my voice out there to the world, challenge myself (and) do some songs that I might not typically, normally do,â Kelley said when Cannon asked about his decision to compete on the show. âAnd Iâm a little kid at heart, so putting on this whole mask and this whole suit was, it was a good time.â
Pearl won the show after her performance of âBlack Horse and the Cherry Treeâ by KT Tunstall. Watch the performance here, and watch the reveal below.
Pearl was revealed as Grammy winner and âRedneck Womanâ icon Gretchen Wilson.
Thicke correctly guessed Wilsonâs identity before she was unmasked. The âHere for the Partyâ superstar said she âhad a rough couple of years,â sharing that she was injured and in a wheelchair, âand there was a moment where I didnât think Iâd ever get back to this place. And I worked really hard. I prayed really hard. And I got so far, but this opportunity has really proven to me that thereâs nothing I canât do.â
